One bite, and you’ll understand why some sweets never go out of style. 🌸 KESAR COCONUT LADDOO Ingredients A generous pinch of saffron (kesar) 1½ cups scraped fresh coconut 2 tbsps ghee ½ cup sugar ½ cup milk ½ tsp green cardamom powder Desiccated coconut as required Method 1. Heat a shallow nonstick pan. Add saffron and cook on low heat for 30 seconds. 2. Transfer in a mortar and crush with the help of a pestle. 3. Heat ghee in a nonstick kadai. Add coconut, crushed saffron and sauté for 4-5 minutes. 4. Add sugar and cook till the sugar dissolves. 5. Add milk, green cardamom powder and cook till mixture thickens. 6. Transfer the mixture in a plate and allow to cool completely. 7. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll into balls. Roll these balls in desiccated coconut and serve.
