Let’s give raw bananas a #SameSabziNewAvatar by turning them into these crispy, mouthwatering ‘Raw Banana and Sweet Potato Tikkis’. Trust us, you’ll want to keep munching on them! RAW BANANA AND SWEET POTATO TIKKI Ingredients 2 medium raw bananas, boiled, peeled and grated 2 medium sweet potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated 1 inch ginger, chopped 2 green chillies, chopped 1 tsp roasted cumin power 1½ tsps chaat masala 1 tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp garam masala powder Salt to taste 2-3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves Dried breadcrumbs for coating Oil for shallow frying Method 1. Take raw bananas in a bowl. Add sweet potatoes, ginger, green chilli, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt and coriander and mix well. 2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into patties. 3. Dust each patty/ tikki with dried breadcrumbs. 4. Heat sufficient oil in a nonstick shallow pan and shallow fry the prepared tikkis till golden brown. 5. Drain on absorbent paper. 6. Transfer in a serving plate and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
