Malai Wali Pyaaz Ki Sabzi | Authentic Rajasthani Curry Recipe | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Simply recreate it at home and bring the taste of Rajasthani goodness to your dining table! ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡ MALAI PYAAZ KI SABZI Ingredients 300 grams fresh malai 6 small onions (pyaz) 2 tbsps oil 1 tsp cumin seeds ½ tsp asafoetida (hing) 1 tsp onion seeds (kalaunji) 1 tbsp chopped garlic ½ tbsp chopped ginger 2 green chillies, chopped Salt to taste 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tbsp coriander powder 1 tsp cumin powder ½ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp garam masala powder ¼ tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) powder 2-3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves Fresh coriander sprig for garnish Paranthe to serve Method 1. Thickly slice onions and separate the layers. 2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and once they start to change the colour, add onion seeds, asafoetida and sautรฉ for a few seconds. add garlic, ginger, and green chillies and sautรฉ for 1 minute. 3. Add onions, salt and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes on medium heat. 4. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and turmeric powder and mix well. Cook for 1 minute. 5. Add fresh malai and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes. 6. Add garam masala powder, dried fenugreek leaves powder, and coriander leaves and mix well. 7. Take the pan off the heat and transfer the mixture into a serving bowl. Garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot with paranthe.
