Now is the time to move over the usual paneer & chicken chilli ⏭️ and try this vegan friendly flavour-packed appetizer - Dry Chilli Tofu!🌶️ Just as the name suggests, tofu is tempered with chillies making it a spicy protein powerhouse, that's loved by all. Share karo, saath mein enjoy karo.😍 DRY CHILLI TOFU Ingredients 150 gms firm tofu, cut into ½ inch cubes and deep fried 4-5 dried red chillies 2 tbsps oil 2 medium onions 1½ cups apple juice 1 tbsp chopped garlic 2 tbsps sweet chilli sauce 1 medium red capsicum, cut into ½ inch cubes 1 medium yellow capsicum, cut into ½ inch cubes 1 medium green capsicum, cut into ½ inch cubes Salt to taste Black pepper powder to taste 1 tbsp vinegar Method 1. Quarter the onions and separate layers. 2. Heat oil in a non stick wok. Roughly chop red chillies and remove seeds. 3. Add garlic, red chillies and onions to the wok and saute till fragrant. 4. Add tofu cubes and apple juice and mix. 5. When it comes to a boil add sweet chilli sauce and mix. Cook on high heat for 2 minutes. 6. Add red, yellow and green capsicums along with salt and mix well. 7. Add pepper powder and vinegar and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes. 8. Transfer into serving bowl and serve hot.
