Authentic flavours of Goa can now be on your plate, so watch the latest episode of #FamilyFoodTales! 🐟⬇️🏖️ GREEN MASALA FISH FRY Ingredients 4 large king fish darnes Salt to taste ½ tsp turmeric powder ½ large bunch of coriander leaves 4 green chillies, stemmed 4 garlic cloves ½ inch ginger, roughly chopped 2 cloves ½ inch cinnamon stick 10-12 black peppercorns 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tbsp lemon juice ½ tsp sugar ½ cup semolina ¼ cup rice flour Oil for shallow frying Onion rings for serving Lemon wedges for serving Method 1. Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder on fish and rub well. Set aside for 15 minutes. 2. Take a grinder jar. Add coriander, green chillies, garlic, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, black peppercorns, cumin seeds, lemon juice, salt, 1 tbsp water and sugar and grind to fine paste. 3. Spread semolina and rice flour on a plate. 4. Apply the ground paste on the fish and roll in semolina- rice flour mixture. 5. Heat a nonstick tawa. Add oil and place the fish darnes. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side. 6. Flip and cook for 2-3 minutes on other side as well. 7. Serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.
