Indulge in these flavorful bites - 'Sichuan Spiced Chicken' that are perfect for any occasion and are guaranteed to satisfy all your cravings. SICHUAN SPICED CHICKEN Ingredients 400 gms boneless chicken, sliced A pinch of crushed Sichuan peppers 1 medium onion 3 tbsps oil 14-16 dried round red chillies 20 dried red chillies, boiled 3 tsps ginger paste 3 tsps garlic paste 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tbsp chopped garlic 2 tbsps tomato ketchup 1 tbsp vinegar A few pink peppers A few thin strips of green capsicum Method 1. Chop onion. Heat 3 tbsps oil in a non-stick wok, add round chillies, onion, and saute together. 2. Grind boiled red chillies to a fine paste. 3. Mix together ginger paste, garlic paste, soy sauce, 1 tbsp red chilli paste in a bowl. Add chicken and salt and mix well and marinate for 1 hour. 4. When onion turns a light brown, add chopped garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add chicken with the marinade and mix well and cook till chicken is almost done. 5. Add tomato ketchup and mix well. Add a pinch of crushed Sichuan peppers, salt and vinegar and mix well. 6. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with pink peppers, thin strips of green capsicum and serve hot.
