Try these delicious 'Banana Sunflower Seed Cookies' that perfectly combine the natural sweetness of bananas with the nutty crunch of sunflower seeds, making them a nutritious snack choice for the whole family! BANANA SUNFLOWER SEED COOKIES Ingredient 1 cup mashed ripe bananas 2 tbsps sunflower seeds Black sunflower seeds to sprinkle 1 cup refined flour (maida) 1 pinch salt 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp cinnamon powder 1 cup whole wheat flour (atta) A small piece of nutmeg ½ cup unsalted butter 1 cup castor sugar Method 1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. 2. Sift maida, salt, soda, cinnamon powder and atta into a bowl. Grate a little nutmeg into it and mix. 3. Cream together butter and sugar in another bowl till light. Add mashed bananas and mix well. 4. Add flour mixture and mix. Add sunflower seeds to the batter and mix well. 5. Line a baking tray with silicon sheet. Spoon small portions of the batter onto it, keeping some distance between each. 6. Sprinkle some black sunflower seeds on top of each and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or till light brown. Do not over bake. 7. Remove from oven, cool and serve.
