How to make Dahi ka Paratha | दही का परांठा | Parantha Recipes | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This wholesome and satisfying treat is perfect to enjoy any time of day. 😇😇 DAHI KA PARANTHA Ingredients ¾ cup curd 2 cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) + for dusting ¼ tsp asafoetida (hing) ¼ tsp carom seeds (ajwain) ¼ tsp chaat masala + for sprinkling 2 tsps dried mint leaves + for sprinkling ¼ tsp black salt ½ tsp roasted cumin powder 2 tsps chopped fresh coriander leaves 1 tbsp ghee + for brushing + for drizzling Red chilli powder for sprinkling Method 1. Take whole wheat flour in a large bowl. Add asafoetida, carom seeds, chaat masala dried mint leaves, black salt, roasted cumin powder and coriander leaves and mix well. Knead till a soft dough is formed. 2. Add ghee and knead till well combined. Keep the dough aside for 20-25 minutes. 3. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into a ball. Slightly flatten them. 4. To make the paranthas, place a dough portion on a worktop. Dust a little whole wheat flour and start rolling the dough to make a thin disc. 5. Brush some ghee on the disc, dust a little whole wheat flour. Pleat the disc to make a number of folds or to make fan. Roll up into a spiral. Press between your palms. Start rolling into a 6 inch parantha. 6. Heat a non-stick tawa. Place the parantha on it and cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Flip it and apply some ghee on top. Continue to cook for 1-2 minutes. Flip and apply some ghee on top of the other side as well. 7. Crush the parantha between your palms to separate the layers. 8. Transfer the paranthas on a serving plate, drizzle ghee, sprinkle chaat masala and red chilli powder. Serve hot.
