A delectable nutty and a chocolaty cookie. The crunch and the heavenly chocolate is all it takes to give yourself a treat. HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE COOKIES Ingredients 1½ cups refined flour (maida) ½ tsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda 1 cup brown sugar ¼ cup castor sugar 1½ cups butter, softened 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla essence ½ cup hazelnut flour ½ cup chopped hazelnuts ½ cup roughly chopped milk chocolate ¼ cup milk Method 1. Preheat the oven at 180°C. 2. Sift the refined flour in a large bowl. Add baking powder, and baking soda and mix well. 3. Take brown sugar, castor sugar and butter in a large bowl and beat it with the help of an electric beater till the mixture turns light and fluffy. 4. Break in the egg and continue to beat till well combined. Add vanilla esenc eand mix well. 5. Add chopped hazelnuts and milk chocolate and mix well. Add the sifted flour mixture and gently fold in till a dough is formed. Add milk and mix well. 6. Take small portions of the mixture and roll it into a ball and press it lightly. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with silicon sheet. Place it in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes. 7. Bring the tray out of the oven and allow to cool. 8. Arrange on a serving plate and serve.
