Chicken Bhutuwa | चिकन भुटुवा | Classic Nepali Stir-Fried Chicken | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Tender chicken pieces cooked in a flavourful Nepalese sauce makes for a delicious, hearty chicken curry that you must try!😋 This version of the dish will be your favourite soon. CHICKEN BHUTUWA Ingredients 750 grams chicken leg boneless, cut into 1 inch pieces 2-3 tbsps mustard oil 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp coriander powder ½ tsp garam masala powder ½ tsp turmeric powder 2 tsps red chilli powder 1½ tsps meat masala 1½ tbsps ginger-garlic paste 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped Salt to taste 2 green chillies, diagonally sliced 2 medium onions, thinly sliced 2-3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves Steamed rice to serve Method 1. Heat mustard oil in a nonstick pan. Once it starts to smoke, add cumin seeds. Once they start to change the colour, add the chicken and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes. 2. Add coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, meat masala, ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1-2 minutes. 3. Add tomatoes, salt and mix well. Reduce the heat to medium, cover the pan with a lid and cook for 6-8 minutes. 4. Add green chillies, onions and coriander leaves and mix well. 5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
