Sev Ki Sabzi is a quick & instant sabzi, perfect for your lazy weeknight dinners especially when you don't have much fresh produce at home but still want a tasty meal. 🥘 The unique texture and technique will have you impressed in no time. So, give it a try! SEV KI SABZI Ingredients 1 cup sev, hard and thick ½ tbsp oil ¼ tsp asafoetida ½ tsp onion seeds (kalonji) 2-3 cloves 1 medium onion, finely chopped 2 green chillies Salt to taste ¼ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp tamarind pulp 2 tsps grated jaggery 7-8 fresh coriander sprigs Green capsicum strips for garnishing Method 1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add asafoetida, onion seeds, cloves and onion, mix and sauté till the onion is lightly browned. 2. Finely chop green chillies and add along with ½ cup water, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, tamarind pulp and jaggery. Mix well and bring the mixture to a boil. 3. Add sev and mix well. Cook for a minute. 4. Roughly chop coriander sprigs and add. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. 5. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with capsicum strips and serve hot.
