RAW BANANA CURRY Ingredients 3 medium raw bananas, boiled 2 tbsps oil 1 tsp mustard seeds 10-12 curry leaves 1 medium onion, sliced ¼ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 2 green chillies 1 tbsp coriander powder Salt to taste 1 tbsp tamarind pulp 1 cup coconut milk 1 tsp garam masala powder Method 1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. 2. Peel bananas, halve them and cut into 1 inch pieces. 3. Add mustard seeds to the pan and let them splutter, add curry leaves, onion and sauté till onion turns translucent. 4. Add 1 cup water, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well. 5. Slit green chillies without cutting through and add to the pan. 6. Add banana pieces, coriander powder and salt and mix well. Add tamarind pulp and coconut milk and mix well. Cook on low heat till the bananas are soft. Add garam masala powder and mix well 7. Transfer the curry into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
