Scrumptious tikkis made with pearl millet flour and deep-fried to perfection BAJRA WADA Ingredients 1½ cups pearl millet flour (bajra flour) ½ cup yogurt ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder ¾ tsp coriander powder 1 tsp white sesame seeds 1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander Salt to taste 2 green chillies chopped Oil for deep frying Tomato ketchup to serve Method 1. Take bajra flour in a bowl. Add yogurt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, white sesame seeds, chopped coriander, salt and green chillies. Add sufficient water and knead into a dough. 2. Divide dough into equal portions and shape each portion into medium sized tikkis and slightly flatten them. 3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, add the discs and deep fry on medium heat till nice and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper. 4. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
