Harissa Falafel | छोले से बनाये स्वादिस्ट तीखा फलाफ़ल | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A doubly flavourful falafel made with the mildly spicy Harissa when served with hummus is a wonderful treat. HARISSA FALFEL Ingredients 1 tbsp coriander seeds 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 medium red capsicum 2 cups soaked chickpeas 4-5 dried red chillies, soaked and drained 5-6 garlic cloves Salt to taste 8-10 fresh parsley leaves 1 tbsp white vinegar Oil for deep frying Hummus to serve Micro greens for garnish Red chilli powder for garnish Olive oil for garnish Method 1. Dry roast coriander seeds and cumin seeds till fragrant in a pan. Take the pan off the heat and allow to cool slightly. 2. Peel the capsicum, cut it in half, discard the seeds, and roughly chop the capsicum. 3. Put the soaked chickpeas in a food processor jar, add the roasted coriander seeds-cumin seeds mixture, soaked dried red chillies, garlic cloves, chopped capsicum, salt, parsley leaves and vinegar and coarsely process. Transfer in a shallow bowl. 4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Take small portions of the mixture and shape it into an oblong shape. Slide into the hot oil a few at a time and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper. 5. Arrange the falafel on a serving plate, serve with hummus garnished with micro greens, red chilli powder, and olive oil.
