So take this as your sign to grab a box of fresh cherries and turn an ordinary morning into something unforgettable. ❤️❤️ CHERRY FRENCH TOAST Ingredients Cherry compote as required Fresh cherries for garnish 8 brioche bread slices ½ cup cream cheese 2-3 tbsps powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla essence 2 cups whipped cream 1 cup readymade custard 3 eggs 4 tbsps castor sugar A pinch of cinnamon powder Fresh mint sprigs for garnish Method 1. Take cream cheese in a bowl. Add powdered sugar, ½ tsp vanilla essence and whisk well. 2. Add 1 cup whipped cream and whisk with light hands. 3. Take custard in another bowl. Add remaining whipped cream and mix with light hands. 4. Break eggs in a bowl. Add castor sugar, remaining vanilla essence and cinnamon powder and mix well. 5. Place 4 brioche bread slices on worktop and pipe the custard mixture. Cover with remaining brioche slices. 6. Heat butter in a nonstick pan. Dip the prepared sandwiches in egg mixture and add to the pan. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for 2 minutes more. 7. Cut into halves, transfer in serving plate, pipe cream cheese mixture on top and add cherry compote. 8. Garnish with fresh cherries, mint sprigs and serve.
