Give your breakfast a nourishing upgrade with this delicious 'Green Moong Parantha', made with the goodness of whole moong.ЁЯСМ Green moong is usually labelled as healthy but boring, and this recipe is here to change that completely. This Green Moong Paratha brings together street-style flavour and comfort with a wholesome, protein-rich filling that feels familiar yet exciting. If you enjoy classic parathas but want a smarter twist without compromising on taste, this one is definitely worth trying. Ingredients 1½ cups boiled whole green gram (sabut moong) ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 2 green chillies, chopped 1 inch ginger, chopped ¾ tsp garam masala powder 1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur) 2-3 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves Dough made with 1½ cups whole wheat flour (atta) Whole wheat flour for dusting Pickle for serving Yogurt for serving Method 1. Take green gram in a bowl and mash. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, green chillies, ginger, garam masala powder, dried mango powder and coriander leaves and mix well. 2. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll into balls. Make a dent in the centre and stuff the prepared stuffing in each dent. Gather the edges and seal properly. 3. Dust some whole wheat flour on the surface and roll out the dough into thick disk. 4. Heat a tawa. Place the prepared parantha and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat. Flip, drizzle some ghee and cook for 2-3 minutes more. 5. Flip again, drizzle some more ghee and cook for a minute more. 6. Serve hot with pickle and yogurt.
