A unique chaat made with sweet potatoes and an interesting medley of sweet and spicy chutneys with a sweet chivda garnish. RATALYA CHA CHAAT Ingredients 4 medium sweet potatoes (ratala) Oil for deep-frying Salt to taste 1-2 tbsps green chutney 1-1½ tbsps sweet date chutney Whisked yogurt as required Potato chiwda as required Fresh pomegranate pearls as required Method 1. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. 2. Peel sweet potatoes and cut into small pieces. 3. Deep-fry sweet potato pieces in hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. Transfer in a bowl. 4. Add salt, green chutney and sweet date chutney to fried sweet potato pieces and mix well. 5. Put some fried sweet potato mixture into individual serving bowls. Pour some yogurt and put some potato chiwda and pomegranate pearls on top. 6. Serve immediately.
